Remember me???

I used to have lots of things to share. I used to blog on the regular.

But life has been hectic lately.

 Here's a brief synopsis: Jon and I decided now would be the perfect time to sell our house, so we could be in a new one by Christmas. Great idea! We killed ourselves to clean, organize, stage, buy new appliances, light fixtures, paint, etc....

Then we got real and realized, "WTF are we doing?!?" Who is going to buy a house in October? More importantly, who will pay our asking price in October? And then another terrifying thought.... what kind of crap houses will be left for us to buy in November?

So that pipe dream went back out the window, and we're all systems go for selling in March.

Meanwhile, I am nursing every sore ache in every muscle in my body from all of the cleaning, walking up and down stairs, hoisting a baby, moving furniture, and the like.

Phew. I'm exhausted just looking at all that.

In case you were wondering, yes... Emerson is still adorable. Here she is eating Chipotle for the first time yesterday - HUGE FAN!

I am a terrible mother, and have yet to take her 9 month pictures. Gotta do that tonight, considering she'll be 10 months in 13 days. Oops. My monthly updates are losing their timely accuracy.

On another note, does anyone else out there L.O.V.E. the show 'Revenge'? Last night was the premiere, and I feel like I didn't breathe for the entire 60 minutes. And man, Emily Thorne rocked this red dress. She may be my new workout inspiration.

Dear Bachelorette Emily

Girlfriend, you are adorable, and I am loving you this season! You are keeping it real and asking the guys some tough questions. I also think you see through the BS, which is more than I can say about any of the other recent Bachelorettes. After reading through Leah's hilarious live Bachelorette blog, I have these suggestions for you:

Ok, Doug. Used to like him, but watching him get all worked up over nothing was a huge turn off. Now I just want him to go.

Ryan = TOOL. Not the sharpest tool in the shed, but definitely the biggest.

Nate... who are you??? Doesn't matter, as soon as you started crying I knew you were done-zo.

Alejandro? You look greasy, and last night was the first time I've heard you speak. You won't last.

Jef, I think you're precious, but the mop top flapping in the wind made me gag a little. You have that shy vibe that Emily has, so I could see them working but not for the long haul. But the bonus is that they could share skinny jeans.

Sean, you're cute and sweet and southern but I just don't dig guys with blond eyebrows. It's a dealbreaker. Sorry! You'd make a great Bachelor though!

Arie - I like skinny guys, he has that dreamy vibe, but I read Reality Steve so I am torn as to whether or not I can love you.

Poor Charlie!!! He was one of my favorites. Please go on Bachelor Pad so you can have more TV exposure and find a nice girl.

Catching up on some DVR'ed shows. (PSA: If you haven't discovered it already, Happy Endings  is one of the funniest shows on TV, which is convenient because it comes on right after THE funniest show on TV, Modern Family)

Feeling so happy that the adorable outfit Em wore to Lindsay's shower was WAY too big on her - proof that my little girl is still really little... even if she has legs as long as Gisele. But drat I forgot to take a picture with my camera - mommy fail! Hopefully one of the shower guests took one because she looked so sweet it gave me a toothache (Thank you, Clueless).

Holding Em over my shoulder in the middle of the night, right after eating, with my cheek on her cheek, and feeling my cheek move as she smiled in her sleep. It was one of those motherhood moments that I will never forget as long as I live.
